Polo SWAP is VELA's first release, a considered reinterpretation of the traditional polo bridle that brings together anatomical design, refined aesthetics and the practical demands of the sport.
Every element has been thoughtfully reconsidered, from the shaping of the headpiece to the arrangement of the straps. The result is a streamlined silhouette designed to provide greater clearance around sensitive areas while retaining the adjustability and stability essential to polo.
Each bridle is individually made by hand using carefully selected European vegetable-tanned bridle leather, valued for its strength, durability and character. Traditional English bridlemaking techniques and precise workmanship inform every detail, combining understated elegance with practical function and lasting quality.
Currently in development, Polo SWAP is undergoing fitting and field trials with polo ponies, riders and trainers as we refine the design ahead of its first release.
